Any reservation implies full, complete, and unconditional acceptance of these terms and conditions.<\/p>\n<h2>1. Payment<\/h2>\n<p>The reservation is confirmed after payment of a 50% deposit of the total amount.<br \/>\nThe balance is automatically charged 7 days before the departure date to the card used at the time of booking.<br \/>\nIn the event of a no-show, the full amount remains due.<br \/>\nBank fees, exchange rates, and commissions are the responsibility of the customer.<br \/>\nThe renter expressly authorizes VanBreak to charge any amounts due (fees, damages, fines, extensions).<\/p>\n<h2>2. Booking Modification<\/h2>\n<p>Any modification must be requested by email.<br \/>\nLess than 15 days before departure, shortening the rental duration is not permitted or may be subject to additional financial charges.<\/p>\n<h2>3. Cancellation<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>&gt; 15 days: credit valid for 12 months<\/li>\n<li>Between 15 and 7 days: 50% retained<\/li>\n<li>Less than 7 days: 100% due<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Cancellation insurance option: free cancellation up to 48 hours before departure with full credit.<\/p>\n<h2>4. Documents and Drivers<\/h2>\n<p>The renter and all drivers must present a valid driving license and identification.<\/p>\n<p>Minimum age: 25 years old and license held for at least 2 years.<\/p>\n<p>Non-EU licenses: an international driving permit is required.<\/p>\n<h2>5. Schedule and Duration<\/h2>\n<p>Vehicles are rented per day. Any started day is due.<\/p>\n<p>Minimum duration:<br \/>\nLow season: 3 days<br \/>\nHigh season: may vary between 4 and 7 days<\/p>\n<p><strong>Check-in:<\/strong> according to defined time slots and VanBreak availability.<br \/>\nMonday: 10:30 \u2013 19:30<br \/>\nTuesday to Friday: 09:00 \u2013 19:30<br \/>\nSaturday: 09:00 \u2013 18:00<br \/>\nSunday: Closed, departure possible subject to availability \u2013 please contact us<\/p>\n<p><strong>Check-out:<\/strong> the vehicle must be returned no later than 13:00 from Monday to Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>A late return is only possible if the corresponding option has been subscribed to in advance, subject to availability and validation by VanBreak.<br \/>\nAny unauthorized delay will result in a charge of \u20ac50 per started hour, without prejudice to any damage suffered by the rental company.<br \/>\nAn early return does not entitle to any refund.<\/p>\n<h2>6. Check-in \/ Check-out<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>A full inspection is carried out at departure.<\/li>\n<li>The renter has 3 hours to report any unmentioned defect.<\/li>\n<li>The vehicle must be returned:\n<ul>\n<li>with the same fuel level<\/li>\n<li>clean water tank filled<\/li>\n<li>wastewater tank emptied<\/li>\n<li>toilets emptied and cleaned<\/li>\n<li>clean and tidy, dishes done, sheets removed and stored in the trunk<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>The renter undertakes to declare any incident and complete the check-out form before returning the keys of the van<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Fees will be applied in case of non-compliance.<\/p>\n<h2>7. Renter\u2019s Responsibility and Insurance<\/h2>\n<p>The renter is responsible for any damage occurring during the rental period, unless proven otherwise.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Not covered:\n<ul>\n<li>unpaved roads<\/li>\n<li>fuel error \/ AdBlue<\/li>\n<li>interior damages<\/li>\n<li>awning, roof and pop-up roof fabric, interior accessories (table, bench, furniture, non-exhaustive list), underbody and lower parts of the vehicle<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Claim management fees are a minimum of \u20ac59.<br \/>\nThe renter is responsible in case of negligence, gross fault, or improper use.<\/p>\n<h2>8. Lessor\u2019s Responsibility<\/h2>\n<p>The lessor\u2019s liability is limited to cases of serious negligence in accordance with Spanish law.<br \/>\nIn case of unavailability, an equivalent vehicle will be provided (same category) or refunded.<\/p>\n<p>Cat. A: Benimar motorhome<br \/>\nCat. B: Sunlight van, Burstner Campeo, Burstner B66, Burstner Papillon, VW Grand California, Benimar van<br \/>\nCat. V: VW California Ocean, Beach, Renault Handroad, Caddy<\/p>\n<p>The lessor\u2019s liability is strictly limited to cases of intentional fault or serious negligence, in accordance with Spanish legislation.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>loss of enjoyment, holidays or business<\/li>\n<li>indirect or consequential damages<\/li>\n<li>delays, breakdowns or unavailability beyond its control<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In case of vehicle unavailability, the lessor undertakes to provide an equivalent vehicle or refund the amounts paid, without any additional compensation.<\/p>\n<p>In the event of a breakdown, accident, or immobilization of the vehicle during the rental period, no refund will be due, except in the case of a proven initial defect.<\/p>\n<p>The lessor shall not be held responsible for personal belongings left inside the vehicle.<\/p>\n<h2>9. Insurance Packages<\/h2>\n<p>Three packages: Basic (included in the daily rental price), Premium, and Complete with different levels of coverage.<\/p>\n<h3>Insurance Packages and Liability Limitation<\/h3>\n<p>The renter may reduce their financial liability by subscribing to a PREMIUM or COMPLETE insurance package, in accordance with Article 7.<\/p>\n<p>The BASIC package is included by default in every booking and includes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Comprehensive insurance (theft, fire) with a \u20ac1,500 deductible<\/li>\n<li>24\/7 roadside assistance in Spain<\/li>\n<li>Driving limited to Spanish territory<\/li>\n<li>2 authorized drivers<\/li>\n<li>Unlimited mileage<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>&#x1f539; PREMIUM Package<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Deductible reduced to \u20ac750<\/li>\n<li>Authorized travel in Spain and Portugal<\/li>\n<li>3 authorized drivers<\/li>\n<li>Glass breakage coverage (excluding headlights, lights, and mirrors)<\/li>\n<li>Assistance in case of accidental puncture<\/li>\n<li>Coverage for minor scratches (\u2264 3 cm, without dent)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>&#x1f539; COMPLETE Package<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Deductible reduced to \u20ac450<\/li>\n<li>4 authorized drivers<\/li>\n<li>Coverage for minor scratches on bodywork and mirrors<\/li>\n<li>Water pump coverage<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>&#x26a0;&#xfe0f; Limits and Exclusions of Coverage (essential clause)<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Damage resulting from misuse or non-compliant use of the vehicle<\/li>\n<li>Damage caused on unauthorized roads or unsuitable terrain<\/li>\n<li>Damage to lower parts, upper parts, roof or awning<\/li>\n<li>Interior and accessory damage<\/li>\n<li>Fuel errors or improper handling<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>In these cases, the renter is fully liable for the total amount of repairs, without limitation of deductible.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3>&#x26a0;&#xfe0f; Specific Cases<\/h3>\n<h4>Glass breakage<\/h4>\n<p>Covered only from the PREMIUM package (excluding headlights, lights, and mirrors).<\/p>\n<h4>Puncture<\/h4>\n<p>Covered only if accidental.<br \/>\nIn case of negligence (terrain, pressure, improper driving): 100% at the renter\u2019s expense.<\/p>\n<h4>Scratches<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>\u2264 3 cm: covered depending on the package<\/li>\n<li>&gt; 3 cm or with dent: at the renter\u2019s expense<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Vehicle damaged in parking<\/h4>\n<p>A police report is mandatory.<br \/>\nOtherwise: full responsibility of the renter.<\/p>\n<h4>Vehicle interior<\/h4>\n<p>Always at the renter\u2019s expense (not covered).<\/p>\n<h4>Travel outside territory (Portugal)<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Billing of PREMIUM daily rate \u00d7 total number of days<\/li>\n<li>Management fees up to \u20ac100<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Misuse<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Improper use<\/li>\n<li>Negligence<\/li>\n<li>Failure to comply with contractual conditions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Leads to full liability of the renter, without limitation or insurance coverage.<\/strong>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>These general terms and conditions of van rental Spain define the rights and obligations between the renter and VanBreak.
